I have a bunch of little garlic plants growing in my garden in October ... Is there any chance they will come back next year?
Is there any chance they will grow inside the house if I bring a couple of them in?
Any recommendations or is it a lost cause?

thanks for your help

My garlic has a "bulb" on the top that has little purple flowers on it. It almost looks like onion sets. What is this and could it be ready to pick already? I live on Ohio and planted it in November.

Last fall I planted 30 garlic cloves of 6 different types. The earth was loam & peat moss and covered with straw. The plants grew and I cut off the scapes. The plant leaves turned brown so I harvested the garlic. All 30 cloves range from 1" to 1 1/2" in diameter. Why are they so small?

Planted silverskin garlic in October and have had a mild, wet winter. The first three leaves on my plants are dead, the top leaves are beginning to brown (it's mid-May), so I thought it was time to dig up. Surprise! No bulbs, just plants that look like green onions. As I was careful not to damage the roots when digging up, I put the plants back, but would like to know if I tried to harvest too early or if they're not going to form bulbs at all.
